Karen White

Karen is a business and systems transformation professional with exceptional skills in engaging with all levels of the business.  Through her engagement, she is able to facilitate the process of aligning business capabilities to organisational strategies and goals, and aligning technology, digital and information capabilities to business capabilities.

Karen’s key skills are in maturing and improving the business and systems transformation strategies and programs in line with the organisation’s business objectives and goals.  Karen developed a Knowledge Sharing Model, as the result of her doctorate in 2012, which addresses the alignment of technology, strategy, business process and culture in the delivery of quality outcomes.  Karen is highly experienced in interrogating people and systems to deliver meaningful recommendations that incorporate short, medium and long term goals and outcomes.

Karen’s experience includes:

  • Strategic framework development, providing an integrated and coherent view of future directions addressing people, process, information and technology dimensions
  • Design, development and implementation of change and quality programmes incorporating best practice frameworks, principles and tools
  • Development of ICT, Information, Data and Knowledge Management strategies and roadmaps in line with organisation, customer service and community vision and goals
  • Negotiation and facilitation in diverse business and community-driven cultures (education, local government and health sectors)
  • Senior management leadership, human resource and team development including ICT, Customer Service and Records Management
